Terms of Use

Last Updated: May 26, 2026

1. Services Covered

These Terms apply to your use of Mednow's websites, mobile applications, pharmacy services, prescription services, health-related service workflows, appointment or consultation features, medication review features, ePrescription or minor-service workflows, chat and support features, notification features, document upload features, payment features, OTC / Shopify store flows, delivery-related features, and family/dependent/caregiver features, where available.

2. Pharmacy, Healthcare, Prescription, and Appointment Services

Mednow may provide or facilitate pharmacy, prescription, medication, appointment, private-pay, ePrescription, minor-service, medication review, prescription transfer, refill, order, and related healthcare services. Information you submit may be reviewed by authorized personnel, pharmacists, pharmacy staff, healthcare professionals, support teams, or service providers where needed to provide the services.

Services remain subject to professional judgment, legal and regulatory requirements, availability, eligibility, payment requirements, and operational limitations.

3. User-Submitted Information and Documents

You are responsible for ensuring that information and documents you submit are accurate, complete, current, and that you have the authority to submit them. This may include prescription images, health card information, government ID, insurance or benefits information, profile information, family/dependent information, service intake responses, chat messages, and other uploaded files or images.

Uploaded files may be retained for up to 10 years or as otherwise required or permitted for audit, compliance, pharmacy/healthcare recordkeeping, payment, security, or operational purposes.

4. Payments, Saved Payment Methods, Stripe, Stripe Connect, Shopify, and Moneris

Customer mobile app pharmacy, prescription, appointment, and related payment flows use Stripe and, where applicable, Stripe Connect. You authorize Mednow and its payment processors to process payments, payment links, saved payment methods, setup intents, payment intents, refunds, transfers, and related payment records for services you request or authorize.

OTC / Shopify store flows are separate and may use Shopify and Moneris. These store flows may be subject to additional payment, refund, order, fulfillment, and service terms.

Saved payment methods may be used for eligible future payments where enabled and authorized. Payment availability, accepted payment methods, taxes, fees, refunds, disputes, failed payments, chargebacks, and pharmacy or service-specific payment rules may vary by service.

5. Refunds, Cancellations, and Disputes

Refunds, cancellations, payment disputes, chargebacks, failed payments, and service-specific payment adjustments may depend on the service, payment provider, pharmacy, prescription status, appointment status, delivery status, applicable law, and operational requirements.

Legal/product must insert final refund, cancellation, failed payment, payment dispute, chargeback, private-pay appointment, prescription/order payment, OTC store, and service-specific payment terms before publishing.

6. Communications and Notifications

By using the services, you may receive communications from Mednow, pharmacies, healthcare providers, support teams, or service providers by email, SMS/text message, push notification, phone, in-app message, or chat, where applicable. Communications may relate to account verification, prescriptions, appointments, payments, service updates, delivery, support, security, or administrative matters.

Push, SMS, email, and chat payloads are not intended to include PHI, but may include service labels, payment links, appointment references, order IDs, and generic prescription/order status text. Some communications may be transactional, operational, legally required, or necessary to provide services. Opt-out options may be available for certain types of communications but may not apply to all service, security, legal, or account-related notices.

7. Delivery Services

Where delivery is available, Mednow may use pharmacies, internal operations, or third-party delivery partners such as Uber Direct to assess serviceability, provide quotes, deliver orders, and provide delivery status. Delivery availability, timing, fees, service areas, identity requirements, recipient requirements, and delivery success are not guaranteed and may depend on pharmacy, courier, weather, address, regulatory, and operational factors.

8. Family, Dependent, and Caregiver Access

Where family, dependent, caregiver, or delegated-access features are available, you represent that you have the legal authority and consent required to create, manage, view, submit information for, or act on behalf of another person. Access permissions may allow designated users to view or manage certain profile, health, pharmacy, order, family, or service information.

9. Account Deactivation and Deletion Requests

You may be able to submit an account deactivation or deletion request through the app or by contacting us. The in-app request deactivates the account, creates a deletion request record, and revokes active sessions. It does not immediately hard delete or anonymize all records.

After request creation, Mednow has a manual deletion/anonymization process handled by the tech team. Requests may be reviewed and processed subject to identity verification, operational requirements, legal obligations, regulatory obligations, pharmacy and healthcare recordkeeping requirements, payment/accounting obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, audit, and technical limitations.

10. Retained Records and Compliance

Mednow may retain records for up to 10 years or as otherwise required or permitted by law, regulation, pharmacy or healthcare professional obligations, operational requirements, accounting/tax obligations, payment processing, insurance or benefits processing, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention, audit, or compliance purposes.

Retained records may include patient profile data, pharmacy/prescription/order/appointment records, uploaded files/images, payment records and Stripe IDs, chat/support messages, notification history and push tokens, audit/security logs, and related operational records.

11. Emergency / Not-for-Emergency-Use Disclaimer

The services are not intended for emergencies or urgent medical situations. If you believe you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number, or seek immediate medical attention. Do not rely on the app, chat, notifications, appointment scheduling, prescription request, delivery, or support channels for emergency care.
